I've been asthmatic all my life. Most of the time is well controlled. I take my preventers every day and rarely need ventolin. Except for the moment!. Its happened a few times before where asthma has settled in and I've had to go on steriods to get it under control.
It started out this time with having couple of attacks doing something mundane like walking, which ventolin took care of but it kept happening more and more. So I do all the things a good asthmatic is supposed to do - my measure my peakflow, increase the mediation. No improvement. So now I am on the cocktail of steriods both pills and new preventors.
I don't remember it getting worse once starting this cocktail before. Maybe its because I had so much on at work I could't stop but after having a scare in the morning and feeling quite ill I had to go to home and go to bed (propped up of course).
I'm really hoping the drugs kick in soon because I don't remember getting out of breath just walking through a few rooms in my flat before and I tell you its a bit scary and unsettling.
Anyway I'm spending the next 2 days in bed and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

There is a draw back to owning the place that you live in.

I just happened to notice what appeared to be a damp spot or bubble or just something on the ceiling. Now I'v had trouble with water dripping from the flat upstairs before where their washing machine is but that's in the kitchen. This is in my study above my desk.

If Only i hadn't stood on the chair and touched it with a frather duster then a bit of the ceiling (a small bit) wouldn't have come away. Now I have this ugly whole (no bigger than a 20 cent piece).

Now I know, i just know, this is going to bother me.

Is this a strata management thing I wonder?

This typing this I have looked at this hole at least 20 times.

I hope it doesn't grow!

I need never go to another concert as now I have seen Duran Duran for over 2 hours.

There is no one else to around to kill the spiders! Now granted by Australian standards not the biggest spider in the world but heck it was bigger and hairier than a daddy long legs which makes it scary in my books!
Now why don;t these things just curl up and die when you spray half a can spray on them!?! After all it was enough to poison me why not it.

Now I only became really hysterical when it went into the light fitting of the bathroom. I was of course on the phone to my mother (who I can tell you was not nearly sympathetic enough!!

Now I am hoping by now there is a dead unmoving because dead spider in my bathroom light fitting and I am wondering how I can survive the next few days without going into the bathroom!

I can tell you that my brother is going to have to work for his supper when he comes over with his wife for dinner on Saturday night.

UPDATE: of course the spider is now dead in the light fitting - the remains all to visible - and of course I had to use the bathroom because as soon as you say you're not you have to!

I wish I had some valium or something I really really do!

I am a nervous nelly when it comes to blogging. It seems so very very public. Being part of net communities is not new at all so is blogging any different to that?
